Surviving passenger Clarice Gale had received a letter from the the ex-wife of passenger F G Duddridge (who had died in the attack). Unfortunately she was unable to give her any further news. Her reply, presumably sent in the August of 1941, was to Mrs Watts who was divorced from Duddridge in 1937 and became Mrs Watts in 1938. The letter has also been transcribed.
